Today, Masseria Potenti is centered around the personal stories of Maria Grazia and Paolo, along with their children Chiara and Walter. In 2003, the Tommasino family acquired a 16th-century masseria, typical of the Puglia region and parts of Sicily. This was no ordinary property – it was a 130-hectare estate once owned by the influential Imperiali family. The historic significance of the farmhouse definitely adds to its uniqueness.
Situated in Manduria's countryside, amidst Primitivo vineyards, olive groves, and overlooking the Ionian Sea, Masseria Potenti distinguishes itself with its pristine whitewashed structures, Mediterranean sunlight, and natural surroundings.
Initially, the masseria was a private retreat for the Tommasino family, and only in recent years have they decided to start sharing it with visitors. Masseria Potenti opened its doors to revitalize regional agriculture using organic production from its land. Olive oil, wine, jams from centuries-old orchards, and preserved vegetables are the most characteristic flavors and produce of Puglia, grown at the masseria, following sustainable practices.
